As a family of three, we decided to make a change and Taketheplunge.  It has been a year since we said farewell to family and friends in Johannesburg on 23 September 2019.  It feels like only yesterday when we sat at the restaurant, Brian Laura, celebrating the end of a chapter.  Celebrating the beginning of Spring and the start of our new journey.  It felt as if life was moving in slow motion and had come to a halt.  No more city life and work.  No more gymnastic and karate practices for our son.  Little did we know that soon the entire world would come to a sudden halt.  From Capetoeverywhere to Portugal has been a slow journey.  This is our story.
